Federal Tax Credits
In December 2010, the U.S. Congress passed a 2011 tax extender bill for federal tax payers who install
qualified energy-efficient retrofits in their home. This includes higher efficiency heating and cooling
systems, such as central air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps and packaged systems. These credits are
only available for improvements made in 2011. An eligible tax payer may claim up to $500 in tax credits,
subject to caps based on the type of equipment installed. Ask your local Gemaire Distributor Dealer for
details or consult your tax advisor.
Local Utility Rebate
Many local utilities provide additional savings through their own rebate programs when you have a new Rheem
