The patent-pending BLU QR® economically provides UV light disinfection and protection to the AC coil surfaces from bacteria, virus, mold and mildew growth and odor. This results in a cleaner and more efficient energy-saving system.
The 24 VAC ballast is designed to be mounted either in the air handler control panel itself or external to the HVAC air handler unit. The BLU QR® UV treatment system utilizes a standard germicidal wavelength lamp for safe dependable disinfection and protection of AC Coil surfaces from bacteria, viruses, mold growth and foul odors, resulting in a cleaner, more energy efficient system.
All electrical connections in the BLU QR® are IP 67 and completely waterproof, submersible up to six feet and dustproof with carbon impregnated UV resistant components and tubing. The smaller U Bracket footprint makes the BLU QR® ideal for tight fitting spaces. The high efficiency 24 volt ballast box comes included with an LED integrated lamp status indicator and lens to show the unit is operational for easy maintenance and a high-quality long life UV lamp. The BLU QR® is available with a one year or two year lamp warranty.
